SENP Yard Sign Pick up Sat. 1/25, 9a-12p at St. Rita Catholic Community

January 22, 2020 by Lauren Law

SENP Members in Areas 1, 2 and 3: Please bring your ID and come by and pick up your member yard signs at St. Rita Catholic Community, 12521 Inwood Rd. between 9am-12pm. We’ll be on the northside of the campus near Harvest Hill. Please drive through and stay in your cars so we can keep the flow of traffic moving. We have more than 325 member signs left to give out.

Each member will receive one yard sign and a couple of patrol cell number cards. We do not have any extra signs available for sale. Yard signs are for member use during time of enrollment and belong to Schreiber Expanded Neighborhood Patrol.

Please call 911 first on any suspicious activity and then the SENP cell number. We do not have patrols going 24/7 so your call or text will be returned when the officer is back on duty.

Please remind any neighbors who may not have joined that membership enrollment closes on January 31. They can join by visiting: https://schreiberenp.org/join/ Thank you for joining SENP! The SENP Board

Schreiber ENP Is Going Live!

December 25, 2019 by Lauren Law

Dear Members,

Our ENP was approved yesterday, 12.23, and officially entered into the ENP system! Thanks to so many who got involved to help make this happen including Sgt. Grajeda, our DPD ENP coordinator, Sgt. Wagner, NW Division who jumped through many hoops, and the calls/emails that Jennifer Staubach Gates and Alexa in her office made or sent on our behalf.  It took a village but we got there!

Patrols will officially begin soon and the date is in our member email that was just sent to members only.  Also included in that email is how the out of town home check process works.

Remember to always call 911 first if you have an issue, then dial the SENP cell number. Also, please remember our patrol will not be 24/7 so if you do call the cell number for any reason, know the officer is most likely either not on duty or tending to a situation. Leave a message and the next officer on duty will return your call as soon as possible.

The patrol cell number was just emailed to Members Only. Please check your email and spam folder if you didn’t receive it. Please add [email protected] to your contacts so that if you are a member the email will make it to your inbox.

If you haven’t joined but want to, visit www.schreiberenp.org and sign up. We’ll keep enrollment open until Jan. 31.

May you have a happy and safe holiday season.

Sincerely,

The SENP Board

Membership Update 12.22.19

December 22, 2019 by Lauren Law

Dear Members,

Total members through 12/22/19 is 380, up from 365 last week.

Area 1-153; Area 2-68; Area 3-159

We had hoped to launch patrols before the holidays, but we still haven’t received approval from the Dallas Police Department on the letter of agreement for the police car rental. Apparently, it is in the city attorney’s office waiting to be reviewed. We will update you as soon as we can about when patrols will start.

If you will be out of town over the holidays, please take the following proactive steps:

  • Have someone turn on your front porch lights at night
  • Leave some lights on in the house and put on a timer, if possible
  • Lock all gates, front, side, and back
  • Post alarm company signs front and back
  • Remove items from cars you leave at your home and lock them
  • Ask a neighbor or friend to pick up mail, papers & flyers on your door
  • See more holiday crime prevention tips here: http://fliphtml5.com/axdz/vuxw

Happy Holidays and here’s hoping 2020 will be a safe and happy one for you and our neighborhood!
