Arrest Made!

June 9, 2022 by Lauren Law

Man following two boys arrested!

Text from a GREAT neighbor who noticed suspicious activity:

Neighbor:

ENP is doing a great job!

I noticed this car following two boys on Willow this afternoon and I called our officer line about 4:11pm to report suspicious activity. Prompt response.

SENP Coordinator:

On 6-8-22 at about 4:11pm Sgt. Aguinaga received a call on the ENP phone regarding a suspicious veh(black 2 door Explorer) following two boys on Willow Ln. at Drujon.

Sgt. Aguinaga arrived within a minute and found the vehicle parked on the 4700 of Willow.  A subject check revealed a Dallas County warrant for which the driver was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Ashley, the caller, stated that the black Explorer was parked on Willow by Drujon and was looking at the two boys and called her attention.  She observed the black Explorer make a quick U turn and followed the boys.  She believed that the driver noticed her following him and stopped following the two boys and drove to the 4700 Willow where he parked.

The driver, Hispanic male 46, stated that he works for the residents at address where he parked.  While waiting for the warrant confirmation the resident arrived and confirmed that the driver does work for them.  The vehicle was left at the residence at the consent of the home owner and the vehicle owner.

It’s most likely NOT the same suspect that was following a student a few weeks ago.

The Moral of This Story!

If You See Something Suspicious, Say Something.

Thanks to our great neighbor for acting promptly and taking action, this creeper in our neighborhood was arrested and taken to jail! Thank you Ashley for stepping in to help avert a possible crime!

Reminders

  • If you see a crime in progress, call 911 first and then the SENP mobile phone.
  • If no one answers, the next officer on duty should return your call or text.
  • If they don’t do this, please let us know so we can help address any issues with our DPD SENP Coordinator.
  • Instead of calling 911 you can also make a report here: https://www.dallaspolice.net/reports/Pages/coplogic.aspx
  • Officers may not always be on duty when you call or request an out of town home check. The next officer on duty should reply to your phone call or text but if they don’t, please let us know by emailing us.

Alert: White Male, 30s In An Older Gray Jeep Follows Girl After School

May 18, 2022 by Lauren Law

12-Year Old Girl Followed After School

This afternoon, May 18, 2022 a 12-year old girl was followed after she left St. Rita Catholic School. The school has been notified.

The girl was walking home between 3:31-3:40 pm, and was followed by a white male in his 30s in an older model gray Jeep. See photos below.

Path taken:

West on Sugar Mill Road down Drujon Lane, south. She felt she was being followed at Ellensburg Road while walking down Drujon. She crossed Willow Lane and walked west down Nashwood Lane to Nanwood Lane all the while being followed and whistled at.

She lost him and ran to her home.  She was on the phone with a friend the whole time.

If anyone living on Drujon, Willow, Nashwood or Nanwood has any video footage during this time period today showing the older model gray Jeep, please send the links to this email and I will forward to the SENP DPD coordinator. I’ve also asked for our officer to patrol the streets St. Rita students walk on after school tomorrow when he’s on patrol.

Thanks to the father who called 911. When our officer got off another call he saw the report and went to their home and was able to take the report. Calling 911 is always the right first step.

Let’s all help catch this creep!
