Who we are

Schreiber Expanded Neighborhood Patrol (“SENP”) provides members with access to crime prevention information and resources.  All resources and information are intended for members in good financial standing.  Non-members visiting https://schreiberenp.org are subject to these same Terms and Conditions.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

SENP provides access to crime prevention information to both members and non-members through this website. In addition, SENP provides access to crime prevention resources to members. Member registration for access to resources is offered both digitally and through traditional offline media.

Electronic Access to Information

SENP provides digital access to information to both members and non-members visiting this website. Members and non-members visiting this website are subject to the site’s Terms And Conditions including this Privacy Policy.

Offline Data Collection

If you register for a SENP Membership through a traditional, non-digital medium, SENP reserves the right to store in digital format any member name, property address, email address, telephone number, or any other information provided by a member via sign-up form, in writing, and verbally. Offline enrollment payment must be made by check. SENP reserves the right to deposit checks via online banking; no copies of checks, account numbers, or routing numbers will be saved or stored by SENP.

Electronic Membership & Communication

SENP provides access to membership, information, and resources digitally. In addition to information saved in the offline registration process, the online process requires a credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay for payment and SENP will transmit relevant payment information to SENP’s payment processor. If a member chooses to enroll in a reoccuring payment plan, payment information will be stored at the processor in their regulated and audited environment.

Cookies

If you visit the SENP website, we reserve the right to set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If a member or volunteer is given access to the website via login, you will be subject to other cookies being set in your browser. When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish information on the site, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Analytics

Analytics are script and cookie-based programs used to track visitor usage of the site. SENP does utilize analytics for a variety of purposes including advanced security, membership signups, membership renewals, and site usage.

Sharing of Data

We share basic member data with the Dallas Police Department in order for them to verify membership privileges. We use industry leading banks and payment processors to process checks, credit card, and other forms of digital payment. We store your basic membership information along with payment information in their environments. SENP does not share security logs or other usage tracking data with ANYONE unless compelled to do so by law.

How Long we Retain your Data

We retain your data for the duration of your membership. If you do not renew your membership, we will retain your information until the next information maintenance window when we will remove the data of any inactive members. If you wish to have your data removed before the data maintenance window, you can request to do so in writing by email [email protected].

What Rights you have over your Data

As stated in Section 7 of the SENP membership Terms and Conditions, your data privacy rights are limited to those stipulated by law in the the State of Texas.

Where we Send your Data

Our online sign-up process is directed through a leading-edge security provider (Cloudflare) via secure protocols to ensure maximum protection during your sign-up process. Payment and membership information is then sent to a leading-edge payment processor (Stripe) for processing. Checks received via offline membership registration methods may be deposited in SENP’s bank account via an online deposit method.

Additional Information

How we Protect your Data

All SENP data is processed through industry leading services that are operated as Software as a Service. All traffic processed on this website is done so via secure protocols for both “data in flight” as well as “data at rest”. We do not accept, process, or store any data in clear, plain-text format. We store no personal data on any server owned by or operated by the SENP.

What Data Breach Procedures we have in Place

The SENP agrees to notify, as soon as possible, all members of any breach reported by the providers that we use in conjunction with your membership.
