In June our officers patrolled 251 hours at 58.52 hours per week. In July they patrolled 239.50 hours at 54.08 hours per week.
As you will see below 7 of the 14 crimes in our area the past two months happened in the business areas on Inwood and five of those were BMV’s (burglary of motor vehicle) and one was car theft. Our neighborhood included 4 BMVs, 1 car theft, 1 burglary of residence and 1 outdoor area theft.
Please take precautions to help steer these criminals out of our neighborhood. Don’t make it easy for them. TAKE. LOCK. HIDE items in your vehicles when shopping or at your home. It’s too tempting for criminals to see a laptop, purse, wallet, phone or other item plain view. Just a friendly reminder to please use the SENP benefit of the out-of-town home check when you’ll be on vacation traveling outside of the area.
